Hares are amazing. They have a deep connection to the history of these isles, most notably Santes Dwynwen. This Tankard is an homage to the Hare I saw in the forest not long before I left Cymru, a good omen captured in a one off functional piece of art. Hand-thrown with white stoneware clay, the leaping Hare is carved into a black underglaze along with a neolithic style forest background.
Fired to 1220°C, while it is dishwasher and microwave safe, handwashing with warm soapy water is recommended to enhance the life span of your piece.
