The Hound and the Hare Teapot, a scene from the Welsh mythology story of Taliesin, the chasing of Gwion bach as a hare followed closely by Ceridwen as she transforms into a hound to catch the fleeing boy, to gain back the all knowlege that he accidentally gained from a potion of hers.
As decorative as it is functional, this is truly a one off piece. Art you can use can never be a bad thing!
Hand-thrown with toasted stoneware clay with the images carved into a jet black underglaze. Fired to 1220°c, handwashing is recommended to take the best care of this piece.
